When putting our dashboards together we might want to use small buttons and still have the timestamp at a glance. However, timestamps can end up larger than the button or main info itself!
My suggestion would be to allow users to pick abbreviated timestamps where instead of “10 hours ago” we have “10h ago” or “21 min” in lieu of “21 minutes ago”.
The essence is the same, the information too - we just get smaller and simpler outputs that take up less real-estate.
Maybe even the “ago” can be omitted?
