It would be nice to be able to run an automation against a specific timeframe in the recorded history to test.
Some automations run infrequently (triggers/conditions like sunset or garbage connection), which means that you have to wait until the next time that event/condition occurs to see that it actually performed as intended.
If you could let the automation run through a timeframe you select, and create a log/ traces (instead of executing the actions *). Then it would be easy to see the results and troubleshoot problems.
