WTH can't scene snapshots survive a restart?

I love the semi-recent addition of snapshots to create and restore scenes, however this functionality would be much improved if those created snapshots could survive a restart of HA.

Hey, for clarification mind changing the title to “scene snapshots” instead of snapshots ?
