At this point I’ve taken to using the advanced ssh addon to run ha core update and then loop until it actually succeeds. Attempting a core update through the UI seems to silently fail 90% of the time - which is extra frustrating because attempting to update is so slow. There also don’t seem to be any logs about why the update failed.
It shouldn’t be silent, depending on the update (OS, core, supervisor) one of the logs should indicate the reason for the failure. What type of installation are you running?
The fact that it eventually succeeds excludes the most common issue - DNS configuration.
