Why does sun.sun become unavailable?! It’s literally the center point of the our solar system
Did you put in a correct home location?
I hope you realise that unavailable means that HA cannot currently get the state of the sun at the moment, not that the actual sun is unavailable.

Yep, been set for over 5 years. Every so often, the sun just disappears from HA.
There’s likely errors in your logs then, we will need them to fix whatever this problem is.
It’s totally random (at least to my eye) but I’ll see if I can grab the logs next time it occurs
