It’s very frustrating to have to explicitly go to the logbook to find see the state history of sensors that are text (vs numbers). You have to hover over the history bar, which is very difficult to do on mobile and doesn’t allow for cut and paste (e.g. searching for a geocoded location). However, some text-based sensors (e.g. device_tracker.*) do show the logbook entries, but why is a mystery.
e.g. the image below doesn’t even show the logbook as an option, even though recorder is happily logging entries.
