I get the idea of having “Play Media” in the main action selection, as the call service menu has a potentially bewildering array of options (see also: WTH is the Call Service entry for automations/scripts so long and not split into domains and actions?). However, today I added the “Play Media” action to my automation thinking I would then be able to pause my media player—and instead had to delete the action and work my way into the call service menu to get the pause option.
I’d suggest that the Play Media automation action would default to the play option (as it does), but should also have a select at the top for all the services in the media_player domain.
