You can only have one condition on the alerts, which means you need to manage a template sensor AND an alert for anything but the basics. Make it like automations, or at least add a template condition.

Yes, I also find that I’m creating a binary template sensor for each alert.
Additional benefit would be that it’s possible to see exactly what has triggered the alert.
And yet another benefit is that the done message could be customized based on the ending trigger. For example, if I have an alert that runs only during working hours, then I don’t really care about the alert ending because of this condition, rather than the “main condition”
