I have lots of ethernet devices and now that I discovered ESPHome, I am bound to have lots more. It would be nice to see the MAC address of the ESP board without having to hunt for it on my router. In some cases the MAC may be printed on the device so having it in the UI makes it easier to match the two up.
IP would be great too… but that can change, so MAC helps more when trying to find the device.

I just added a device and while I know the IP from the logs, I can’t find it in my Unifi interface. I got the MAC from the logs and found it immediately. It was not showing up as Unifi says it is offline while the ESP says it is online… anyway, just one example of how easy access to the MAC can help.
