Would be great to have a thread network map to help diagnose issues.
The OpenThread Border Router addon can show a network map.
You need to enable a port in the configuration. The default is 8080, then you can access the webinterface on http://<ha ip address>:8080/ and there is a Topology page.
Check the documentation of the addon for more info.
No, I deleted OTBR as it constantly caused issues. Tried it again recently with the same result so result so deleted it again. It is probably the Sky Connect. I have three google, one apple and one nanoleaf TBR’S on the same PAN on hannel 23. Found the network map in OTBR to also be inconsistent.
@Michel I have followed your instructions and enabled port 8080 in the OpenThread Border Router addon, restarted the addon, but when I navigate to http://192.168.0.30:8080/ in my Chrome browser, I get the message:
Is there something else I need to do, or change, or enable?
I think that is all I did back then. No clue what is wrong
Neither had I … ![]()
But then I read the documentation again and noticed that it said “Make sure to expose both the Web UI port and REST API port (the latter needs to be on port 8081) on the host interface. To do so, click on “Show disabled ports” and enter a port (e.g. 8080) in the OpenThread Web UI and 8081 in the OpenThread REST API port field).”
Once I exposed the REST API port, I could connect to the Web Interface.
And I can now view the topology … ![]()
