As you start getting more advanced trying thing with templating, you can start creating things that will take system resources (CPU, memory, etc.) to the point it will cause some degradation to the Home Assistant overall performance (the system can become slow, instable, consume more electricity, etc).
It would be nice if we can see the “cost” of a template. This could be as simple as adding a CPU & memory info at the Template tab under Developer Tools.
