WTH entities card works so badly for input helpers?

The secondary in ir is not displayed regardless what is selected, I cannot manage numbers as integers… WTH!

I am using an input_number helper to set my lawn sprinkler durations. I know that input_number are floats, but how can I display it on the front-end as integers? (Highlights in the image). [duration]
