I’ve realized, that there is no option to exclude elements (folder/addons) from the full backup (and it’s service). The only possibility to add included elements for the partial backup which is not each other’s supplementer.
Imagine you define your include list with the current partial backup (since you do not want to backup everything) and then install a new element (eg addon) this addon won’t be the part of your backup automation.
Please add a selectable/multiselect exclusion list for the full backup service on the frontend (and the corresponding yaml part for the automations as it is in the backup dialog:
Wouldn’t this be solved even better by a checkbox in the dialog for adding add-ons, that lets you select if it needs to be included in backups? That way, it works with both include and exclude lists.
I think in this case we push the responsibility to the add-on owners to implement it (which can take eternity times), additionally it does not solve the problem of the folder exclusions.
