WTH Has Entity Numeric State in Automations not the equal option

In Entity Numeric state you van only use Above and Below and not Equal. I have several automations that need to be in Node-Red because of this.

You can use the state trigger (the same one you would use for a binary sensor) for this…

Aah thanks, did not think of that, will try that.

But still it is strange it is not in the correct setting.

I second this one. I know how to work around it, but every dang time, I start with a Numeric State trigger or condition, futz with it for a couple minutes, then remember that even though I’m referencing the state of a number, I don’t actually want Numeric State.
