Every time I add a new ESPHome device — or more frequently, delete/detected/re-add an existing device to get Home Assistant to pick up new sensors/etc. — I have to enter the encryption shared key and API password.
Can’t I just enter this once somewhere, and store it securely for re-use?
It’s a real pain to have to fetch this information (which I already have in my secrets.yaml), especially when trying to copy and paste on mobile.
