Few times i need to set one swith to be off when other is set to on and oposide. Like a control a valve with two relay one for one direction and one for other. For safeti is good if they canot be "ON "in same time.
Or oposide taks two switchs to act like one.
For both problem i use template cover but it will be good if we have it in helpers.
The example you provided is the perfect spot for a Template Switch. Combine both switches into one where you can ensure they are mutually exclusive. Then disable the original entities so that they can’t be accidentally touched.
thah not work if you have button on every switch and you use them
Why would you have a button on each switch when they are synced?
