WTH: How do I track down random actions? Need improved logging

Like many users of HA, I am integrating multiple systems (Alarm.com, Alexa, Hue, etc). I have Node-Red scripts. I love HA and all the great flexibility. But sometimes I just get random events I cannot explain. My alarm gets set to Away. Why? The lights in the Family Room just come on. What the heck?

I need a solid way of tracking these down. One, integrated way to understand what is happening. I have added logging param to my config. But I still don’t know what is triggering the events. Can HA integrate logs or provide a way to have a Holistic view of my automation events? This would be such a great capability to help all of us DIYers track down the “ghosts” in our systems.

They can do that already… just not for node red. Chances are, these phantom events are coming from there.

I found the events and they weren’t as random as I thought. I looked at logs in alarm.com and matched the dates/times with node-red. Then, with some testing and trouble-shooting I found all the issues were in my flows (as expected). Tracking this down would have been easier with all the logs in all the same place, but I did find it. Thank you.
