There is a discussion I created already about it, but I was very disappointed we cannot have an intuitive way just because there is a workaround and I got informed that I cannot even add this as a feature request by the community!
Trigger at the time you want to wake up then check if it is a day you want the alarm to occur in the conditions. That’s logical and unlikely to change.
As explained in the other topic filtering a trigger occurs in the conditions block. Filters will not be added to triggers themselves.
I am just a teenager trying to create first useful automatons, for me this is really a very bad experience I have to do this:
It would be much more logic to be trigger When the time is equal to 8:55 AM and the day is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
You can do that, you’re filling out all the optional information. Remove the after 8:50 am and before 9:00.

I would probably just use the Workday integration or a Schedule for this
Schedule would be a much better fit.
Workday does not work if I just want to exclude Sunday.
