WTH IP ban whitelist (and maybe UI setup?)

It has come up multiple times [1, 2], but I haven’t seen any resolution.

But it would be great to have

  1. Ability to whitelist single IP
  2. Ability to control IP ban through UI.

Or even ability to get a pop-up on mobile, do you want to ban yes or no.

Ipban caused me lots of grief!
