Since sections are designed to have a relatively fixed layout, it is very impractical to work with conditional cards / visibility. If a card is hidden, the layout shifts. If you have a lot of conditional cards it’s nearly impossible to create a good layout.
It would make sense to have a card that occupies a fixed space and then displays one of X “sub-cards” depending on the conditions of each “sub-card”. If no condition applies, the space remains empty.

Examples:
- Show the light/blinds/climate/sensor/… of the room in which the dashboard is displayed on a wall tablet (so you need 5 “sub-cards” for 5 rooms).
- Show climate in summer and heating in winter
