WTH is there no documentation how to add custom cards?

I’m pretty new to HA but everytime i want to add a custom card i’ve trouble figuring it out.

I would suggest its the responsibility of the developer of the custom card to document how to add it

considering that most (if mot all) custom cards are being added the same way, why to not put this description in official documentation? just to avoid duplicating of the same description in cards documentation
