This is one of the reason why I still have yaml files for helpers instead of UI - I can clone/duplicate the same input_xxx by just copy/paste with different id of course. However, if I am just on mobile and away from any keyboards/large screen, it’s hard to do this on the UI.
Alternative is to have an option to make the input_xxx as template and deploy/create the new input_xxx using that template. Similar to this but I’m not referring to a template sensor/entity.
I have some HA installations with more than 250 helper objects - so a helper clone / copy / category that supports wild cards to auto increase or replace numbers would be so helpful. I remember having pull down menus with some 20 or so fertilizer options to select and 6 channels and having to manually create over 120 helpers over and over again. Of course you can make them YAML to make editing easier but the helpers in YAML have a few bugs such as not supporting units and other fields etc. which I will submit time permitting.
