I have about a billion helpers created and then orphaned by KeyMaster. When I removed KeyMaster, they all stayed. It is painful to remove them all, there are probably 1,000.
It would be REALLY nice to because to select multiple helpers and then delete them all at once.
May be if you remove them manually from the hass folder ?Folder is .storage file is input_boolean
I have the same issue and tried this as well. None of those helpers that were generated by keymaster are stored in the files you mentioned. I wonder where they are saved at. This is a real pain in the butt to remove all these orphaned heleprs
In some cases you can remove these In Configuration / Devices and Services / Entities tab. Sort by the Status column. Also ensure you aren’t filtering the list (the triangle icon top right).
Tick the check boxes of the items you want to remove then click Remove Selected
The new checkboxes probably make this a whole lot easier! Two years ago when I posted this, filters and checkboxes didn’t exist!
