WTH is there no way to rename an automation without opening it (from the automation overview window)

Small one here, but I occasionally find myself wanting to rename groups of automations. At the moment the only way to do this is to open the automation, and then click on the 3 dots in the top right, and then select rename… and then go all the way back out for the next one.
It would be far fewer steps if on the main “automation overview” page you could just click on the three dots next to an automation and have the same rename option there.

You can change the name of the automation in the entity list without opening the automation.

Settings → Devices & services → entities tab → find entity and rename.

I’m not sure this is the same thing. If I try and rename an automation entity (which has no name by default), it renames it in the automation overview, but when I go into the automation itself using the old method it still has the old name.
Looking at it, I’m pretty sure the automation name is not the same as the automation entity name under the hood.

Regardless, the WTH was specifically about being able to rename them directly from the automation overview page - going into the entities window definitely requires more user effort as you have to a) filter and b) don’t have the advantage of the new categorisation in the automation overview window.

Yes, your intuition is correct. One is stored directly in automations.yaml, the other in the entity registry.
