Settings should be in same part of menu as Notifications and Profile. It should be always visible.
Turn on advanced mode in your profile and it will.
I have advanced mode enabled and settings is not always visible. It is above divider. And if you have many items in navbar you need to scroll down to see Settings item.
If you have advanced mode enabled it’s always there. Maybe you mean you have to scroll down to see it?
Regardless of the semantics, it’s purposely hidden because non admins don’t need it.
I think OP means that Settings should be pinned (if it’s available), which sounds like a good idea.

I agree. When Advanced mode is enabled, “Settings” should be visible and below the divider line just above Notifications and the profile.
