So you decided to phase out yaml configuration files but took the sneaky way doing it - gradually.
It goes away for configuring devices and srrvices. In all other cases it is being extended about every release. So your message is not quite right.
Lastly, this is not going to change, as this has been decided on in an architectural decision record.

Maybe change the title to “no more YAML on configuring devices and services”? It’d stand true, while still reflecting the request.
