Every time an update is available, I hit the release notes button in the supervisor. Then the release page opens (for example https://www.home-assistant.io/blog/2020/08/12/release-114/), and then I have to scroll 5 minutes to see the release notes WTH
Open that page, Ctrl + F, type 0.114.3 (or whatever the release is), press Enter
WTH is not about collecting work arounds I guess?
Sub-release notes are a bit easier to find now that lots of the content is collapsed, but that comes at the cost that the same ctrl/cmd-F no longer finds content in those collapsed sections.
Just letting you know you don’t need to scroll to find the point release notes
I was not aware that major release notes were amended with subrelease notes. An anchor would be useful to help to discover them. Or maybe links with anchors at the top of the post.
This has been requested a few times (maybe by you )
It seems to get the “that is not possible with the present system|software|stste of things”
I am with the view that @Tediore expouses, just search, its a few keystrokes. I’d rather devs got HA to work better than stuff around tweaking release notes.
Ii think maybe they could get added on top of the release notes ?
Not a bad idea.
Not sure why it wouldn’t be possible, there are already working links for example https://www.home-assistant.io/blog/2020/08/12/release-114/#release-01143---august-20 that takes you directly to the patch notes for 0.114.3
