WTH there is no number in modbus integration?

Modbus already contains switches, and it is great.

But when I need to have Input Number syncronized with modbus register - it is always a pain to write much automation code. And when I need 20 of these?
It would be nice to have numbers the same as switches supported directly.

There is already feature request for that.
