WTH there's no way to view scenes/scripts/automations/helpers with a shared label without clicking to lots of different pages

Labels are the main form of categorisation that goes beyond one specific kind of “thing” - scene/automation/script/device/entity/etc.

I use a “Sleep” label for

  • a scene of my bedroom lights in the hour before bed
  • an automation to apply this scene at the right time
  • a script to turn off all my lights when I go to bed properly
  • a lamp that I only use as a sunrise wake-up lamp
  • an input helper that keeps track of a sleep mode
  • etc.

It would be amazing to be able to see all of these things that I have labelled as being connected listed on a single page, rather than having to go individually to each of Scenes/Automations/Scripts/Entities and re-apply the same label filter each time.

This would help so much with implementing and testing more complex pieces of automation and functionality, as I could see all of the building blocks together.

More broadly, a global “thing” page with its own unified search for properties like Area and Label that are shared across different types of “thing” would be very useful.

Oh true, the entities page does do 90% of what I want – thank you, I had forgotten about that one!

Still maybe some nice little QoL things to add:

  • the ability to create a new helper/automation/scene/etc from the entities page directly
  • including the type-specific enable/disable toggles, last triggered times, etc. from the individual pages as appropriate to each entity row
