WTH unique_id cant add to group, but cant add unique_id

So I have a bunch of stuff that’s sitting in the wrong place and seemingly cant be moved to the right location/ group, because they wont accept an unique_id

Even the nanoleaf???

How am I meant to make order of this, if I cant add them to the propper rooms?

Thanks guys

What is your yaml? I don’t think unique_id is needed. https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/group/

Thanks mate, I guess it does make sense if they are custom entities added to the config .yaml in the first place.

But before I go creating a new “Living Room” group say. How does this effect the already existing ones?

I did find the groups.yaml and add my printer in there, works
