Hi there,
I’m using Shelly devices that have a Bluetooth Proxy functionality due to their inbuilt ESPs.
It would be great to have a Bluetooth visualization comparable the the ZigBee one on ZHA.
Cheers

Oh, that’s a good idea, even if I’m not currently using my Shelly BT proxies because they no longer work reliably since 2024.11 (Interval/Window Change), but the card can certainly handle ESP BT proxies.
Oh interesting. I didn’t know they stopped working sicne I only started using it recently. how would I find out? did you actually run into issues or did you search the logs?
Visuzalisation would be definitely cool but is there even any data regarding which proxy has connection to which device (and vice versa) right now?
There is rssid for each bluetooth device so yeah this is possible, the Bermuda Triangulation component uses this data for Bluetooth location tracking so it really just needs to be visualized.
I even didn’t mean triangulation which would be nice a well for moving sensors/tags. I think that right now the RSSI is available from only one ESPHome BLE proxy which is the active one for a given sensor.
The problem is that right now you even don’t know which sensor is connected to which proxy. And you don’t know/see if sensor connections change when you update and restart ESPHome proxies for instance.
