WTH Why can't we create a history graph and save it without having to have it as a card?

I find I am repeatedly creating graphs in history to look at what’s going on with household electricity consumption etc. It would be neat if I didn’t have to do this all the time, and I like the full screen view that the history tab allows, which is why I haven’t created a card.
