The type: energy-date-selection card influences the data that is show on the rest of the energy cards. It works well and I use it all the time.
The energy tab has limited options for customisation so I, like many others create my own dashboard using cards from the energy dashboard and adding any other cards that I desired.
When I change the date on the selector, it influences only the official energy cards. i would love for this to be exposed in a way that allows it to be used in templates. This would ideally enable me to have my custom sensors and other cards update to match the selected date range.
