WTH Why doesn't the iOS companion app sync scenes to Homekit

I want HA to be a bridge to the Apple Home UI. I want scenes in HA to back 1:1 scenes in Apple Home.

I understand not everyone may be using the Homekit Bridge integration but for those that are WTH? Why doesn’t the iOS companion app detect the Homekit Bridge integration and offer to sync scenes to your Apple Home hub?

Doing manual work to translate switches to scenes within Apple Home is not acceptable given that except for scenes the Homekit Bridge integration does not otherwise require any configuration or changes in the Apple Home app for selected entities/devices to sync.

I wish Apple would allow for scenes to be set sever side. But AFIK they don’t. Isn’t this a good use of the iOS companion app to handle OS specific gaps in the integration?

Homekit does not allow the importing of scenes.

Put in an request to Apple. It would be a great feature.

I could have sworn my scenes from Philips Hue imported, so there is a mechanism. I don’t use hue anymore to check, but I did a search and some posts on Reddit mentioned scene import

Yes it does, but it requires that it be done through an iOS app. Which is why I’m asking for this specifically to happen in the companion app and not directly in the Homekit Bridge integration.
