WTH Why is it so hard to change the text color in picture elements

Why is it so hard to change the text color in picture elements.
This page: Picture Elements Card - Home Assistant
refers to " Position and style your elements using CSS"
I click that page and I was like whaaaaat I need to understand this whole CSS thing to change to color of text. I tried…but nothing changes the color of my text :frowning:

A few more examples (not only for changing the icon color) would be nice… especially also an example how to make the text color change with the day/night theme… :slight_smile:

I’m not suggesting this will solve your problems by the way, I’ve only linked this as you’re obviously using Picture Elements cards and there’s some really good information in that topic.

Life is a pain, and a color is just one attribute for a label out of 999 other attributes ))) So yes, we have to learn CSS.
