WTH - why is the dashboard editor so dated

Every time I set up a dashboard it’s layer after layer of nested menus that I need a massive screen to see… the preview is a great addition but what would be better would be a drag and drop editor based on css grid or another layout system. As well as the ability to easily place cards adding the ability to resize them to take up different parts of the grid. Currently you need to resize buttons via nested layouts or custom css.

WYSIWYG Dashboard Editor

Like the title suggests, a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) Dashboard Editor would help bridge the gap between the users who have a coding background and those who don’t. Being able to drag/drop cards and then configure each card after they’ve been placed would make creating dashboards easier for everyone.
