Apparently, Linux Policy eliminated the ability for adb commands to use sendEvent. Due to this, you can’t send faster button press commands, nor can you directly open apps on Google Chromecast with Google TV. This has made trying to navigate menus with it painstaking.
This is frustrating, I have a great media setup but the standard ABD commands are painfully slow. its unusable actually. I’m back to using the standard remote now
