WTH why some possible Actions in an automations are not suggested?

Hi,

In an automation I setup my Tuya Thermostat temperature, but I had to switch to YAML in order to add the “set temperature” Action since it was not in the Automation possible actions. Only ON/OFF/Toggle and HVAC Modes.
However when I add it in the YAML editor, it works properly.

I’m assuming you’re using a device action? Swap it to an entity action and you can use the UI.

you’re right it is a device Action. How to switch to “Entity” action, I looked for it but can’t find it?
However, I did notice that there is a “climate” action and a “perform action” that would make the job done. But why is there a limitation on the Device?

Yes, that’s the entity action
