We don't call them add-ons anymore. They are called apps now.
I note this is a common occurrence. Is this because the documentation for creating an app is incorrect, not updated yet with the new terminology, or there has been use of outdated/hallucinating AI assistance, acknowledged or not?
Asking generally, as well as specifically here in this instance.

There is a community member with a sample repo out there that the AI's and people in general have latched onto I think is causing most of this. Personally I just mention it and most are fixing it.
I believe all the official docs have been fixed. (But I have not checked.)
