I would like to request the addition of a live feed integration for Wyze Cameras in Home Assistant. Wyze cameras are widely popular for their affordability and reliability, making them a staple in many smart homes. Integrating a live video feed into the Home Assistant dashboard would greatly enhance its functionality, allowing users to monitor their cameras alongside other smart devices. This feature could include live streaming, two-way audio support, motion and sound detection with automation triggers, and access to recorded clips from Wyze cloud or local storage. While Wyze cameras rely on proprietary protocols, leveraging RTSP firmware or existing APIs could make this integration feasible. Although there are community-driven integrations, an official implementation would provide broader compatibility and improved reliability. This enhancement would not only centralize smart home monitoring but also unlock new automation possibilities, further strengthening Home Assistant as the go-to platform for smart home management.
