I see the new Wyze Garage Door Controller uses their Cam and AI to detect open/closed status. Does anyone know if you can get to that state without having their controller? I mean, just pointing a Wyze cam at the door?
You put a huge QR code sticker (included with the opener) on the inside of the garage door. The camera sees this QR code to know that the door is closed. Are you able to do this with the camera alone?
I am guessing that their cloud server reads the QR code. But it’s an interesting idea…
