XEOMA to HA

I am a beginner using HA but have long experience using Xeoma camera surveillance platform. I see browsing the forum that many use the Xeoma to connect their cameras and then get a mqtt message to HA when an event happens.
For those not familiar with Xeoma its a great way to connect one or multiple cameras, it can be ip cameras, usb cameras or analog cameras. You can then preview then from the same client using laptop smartphone etc
But the big plus is the possibility to transform the camera to a very skilled surveillance device that can detect motion sound smoke and much much more. For example the motion detector is much more advanced than any other built in motion detector.
Xeomq can be run locally or remotely. there is versions for Linux, Windows, Mac, Android. For smaller installations a Raspian Pi3 is perfect.
But if you dont want to run it locally, have a look at www.mirawai.com. There you can read about how to use it remote and also about all the different modules that is available.
The developer of the platform you can find on www.felenasoft.com/xeoma/en/
