just a quick question here: is the Xiaomi Aqara Smart Plug (ZNCZ04LM) capable of reverse energy monitoring?
I want to buy a plug and play photovoltaics system (one of those really small ones that you can simply plug into any outlet - like this one selfPV Komplettpaket 400Wp Hotspot Free / Bosswerk) The thing is, the small, cheap ones don’t have any connectivity or app support, but I would still like to somehow measure how much energy it delivers to my house.
If I put it into an Aqara Smart Plug, would it run backwards? or would it add the produced energy? (both ways would be fine) … or would it just ignore the energy delivered by the solar panels?
What would happen?
It seems like no-one has ever tried to do that
EDIT: It seems like there is an app with this specific one … will look if it’s integrate-able into Homeassistant…
Still - would be interesting how the Aqara plug would react if energy “flows the wrong direction”
