Xiaomi Button via MQTT

I have a Xiaomi Button paired with Smartthings, it sends 2 events to MQTT via the Smartthings MQTT bridge:
smartthings/My Button/button = pushed
or…
smartthings/My Button/button = held (if you hold for ~3s and release)

What is the best way to configure this in HA so that I can use it to trigger various things

well, the most simple way to trigger an automation with mqtt is to use an MQTT trigger :smiley:
