I’m trying to integrate my Airpurifier to home assistant with xiaomi home integration. When trying to login to the integration, it doesn’t work, but as far as I know it’s a known issue. I tried using the cloud token extractor and manually set the token and IP address. That worked for my Roborock S5, but it doesn’t work for the Airpurifier. When adding the token and IP address, it just returns an error telling me that connection is not successful.
Does anyone know how to integrate the Airpurifier through the xiaomi home integration?
I found out what the problem was. AirPurfier has to be on the same subnet as home assistant otherwise it will not work. This is the first time I have seen a problem like that. I have 50-60 IoT devices on a separate subnet and all of them are working.
The solutions are:
Assign a parallel IP adress to home assistant which is on the same subnet as AirPurifier (HA will have 2 IPs)
Put airfryer on the same subnet
The solution depends on your network configuration. I ended up assigning it to the same subnet and allowing it to only access home assistant.
