Xiaomi Smart Socket ZigBee is discontinued? Any others smart plugs?

I use 3 Mijia Gateways (DGNWG02LM), with Chinese servers, and I have several ZigBee devices connected to them. I’m very happy with the integration. Now, I need more smart plugs, and it seems that the Smart Socket (ZNCZ02LM) has been discontinued. I’ve bought ZigBee European version (XM500008), but it does not seem to work with Chinese servers :frowning: The newer Smart Socket 2 (ZNCZ07CM) uses WiFi and Bluetooth, but not ZigBee. So… what to do now?

I don’t want to connect smart plugs over WiFi. Do you know if the Xiaomi Bluetooth Gateway (CGSPR1) works with Smart Socket 2 (ZNCZ07CM)?

Any alternatives? What if I buy a ZigBee USB adapter so I can connect any ZigBee device directly? Will they work correctly among the other ZigBee devices connected to the Xiaomi Gateways?

I already have a Z-Wave USB adapter. Any recommendations for Z-Wave smart plugs?

I also have a Philips HUE bridge. So I think I can try Philips HUE smart plugs.

Personally I would just buy a CC2531 stick and install the zigbee2mqtt & mqtt integration for homeassistant. Why would you want to be connected to Chinese servers if you can have your network control it locally? I rather have my smart devices in my own control. I only connect to the cloud if I dont have any other choice (e.g. devices I bought before hassio enlightened me).

BTW your XM500008 should work just fine in combination with the CC2531 (I think). About your bluetooth and wifi plugs maybe buy an inexpensive ESP32 (10 euro) and pass the info to hassio.
