Xiaomi Vacuum - Has anyone got it to work or am I doing something stupid?

Hi all,

Just checking if anyone has gotten the xiaomi roborock E20 vacuum working with HA?

Running the newest version of Hassbian I have added it to my configuration.yaml but HA says it is “unavailable”. There’s a lot of mention of the Roborock S50, but I don’t see the E20 mentioned, I did see something on github but don’t know if it’s the same component as I have installed

I have the Roborock S5 which works just fine. The only difference is, in my config, my token is all lowercase.

I’ve got the E20, another user said he got his working it. Definitely going to try the lowercase now. Thank you.

Out of interest, which method did you use to get the token

I’ve done it 3 ways.

Use an old version of Mi Home, download the backup to a windows machine, run some app there that finds it.
Use an old version of a hacked Mi Home that shows the token directly in the app.
Root the vacuum (easiest and best, in my opinion).
