Yale Approach vs August WiFi Smart Lock

Looking for a deadbolt style smart lock (inside only). Settled on the Yale Approach and the August WiFi Smart lock. Would prefer something local only and it looks like I can control the August lock locally via Homekit. The Yale Approach seems new. The Yale integration doc doesn’t even list it so not sure about compatibility with Home Assistant. Also saw somewhere that the Approach will support Matter on a future software update.

Not sure which one to go with. The Yale Assure has 4x the battery life as the August. Anyone have experience with the Yale Assure?
