Yale/August Bluetooth Keypad to control a non-natively compatible lock

Does anyone know if there is a way to integrate a Yale/August Keypad that is designed to be used with one of their locks, with another lock that is not natively compatible? I was wondering if this might be possible somehow through the Yale Access Bluetooth integration or somehow reading the codes entered directly from the lock to trigger an automation to control a lock that doesn’t have a keypad option available for it.

Alternatively, is there any other device out there that has similar form factor, and is not an alarm panel type keypad, which is waterproof and could be mounted outside to take user keycodes to trigger an automation and unlock a lock? It seems like there’s quite a large is a gap in the market for something like this, or I just haven’t found anything suitable despite hunting for hours on end.

What geography are you in? (device availability varies based on country) and what is your preferred technology (zigbee, zwave, wifi-esp32, (matter doesn’t support locks/keypads yet)

I’m in the UK. I have Zigbee and Z-Wave networks already. I would generally prefer one of these two over Bluetooth as they are more reliable, but really the platform is unimportant. The lock I want to add keypad support to is the Yale Conexis L1, as this does not have a compatible keypad when used with the Z-Wave module, which is why I have been wondering if there is a way to integrate their keypad to control it non-natively via Home Assistant, but any small keypad may work. I am concerned about it being secure more than anything else.
