I have the yale entr smart door lock which is a bluetooth smart lock control by phone. I would like your support in integrating with home assistant to trigger automations in a single click such as opening/locking the door.
Any idea how to control such bluetooth lock?
Does it not work with the existing cloud integration ?
Do you have a Bluetooth to WiFi bridge… or HomeKit integration so you can unlock your door remotely from your phone?
I have the Yale Linus (Bluetooth) and all works well with the integration via the bridge.
Hello @xAPPO
Unfortunately unlike Linus, Entr does not support a bluetooth/wifi hub. I was planning to get Linus but not willing to give up so fast and waste whatever i already invested in.
I want to see what are my available options to integrate into home assistant. Can i directly control by replicating the remote control signal via home assistant ? Is there a way to replicate a bluetooth signal (similar to broadlink Infrared blaster) to control the lock?
I am fine with getting a hub but the chances for it to work are very low.
@xAPPO No its not possible, the lock is just a bluetooth lock and can only be control from a short range.
There was Yale tiny bridge but it was discontinued, I really need to find another way to control it remotely
